Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking an experienced cybersecurity threat intelligence analyst to produce timely, actionable intelligence for stakeholders. You will assess threat impacts, track campaigns, and advise technical and operational teams on mitigations.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication, and collaboration with global teams, with a focus on improving threat monitoring and incident response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years in cybersecurity, including at least 2 years in threat intelligence.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, and the cyber kill chain.
• Ability to translate technical findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; clear risk portrayal.
• Experience with cyber defense operations, security monitoring, or incident response.
• Ability to work cross-functionally across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct operational and tactical research to produce actionable intelligence for stakeholders.
• Assess threat impacts with enterprise stakeholders and support mitigation decisions.
• Analyze data to track cyber campaigns and recommend actions to teams.
• Develop expertise on platforms, threat vectors, and threat actors.
• Apply threat intelligence frameworks to improve mitigating controls.
• Perform technical analysis including indicator extraction and malware analysis.
• Collaborate with peers to provide all-source intelligence and context.
• Identify high-risk threats and monitor threat activity continuously.
• Support supplier and supply chain risk research and reporting.
• Suggest improvements to threat intelligence practices and maintain playbooks.
• Mentor junior analysts and participate in external information sharing communities.
