Job summary

AeroVironment in Albuquerque, NM (and other locations) seeks a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to identify, analyze, and communicate cyber threats affecting the organization, translating intelligence into detections, investigations, and defensive improvements using MITRE ATT&CK, SIEM/XDR, and endpoint telemetry.

The role covers threat intelligence, technical threat analysis, vulnerability exposure, incident response support, and threat platform management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, SOC, IR, or threat hunting.
• Strong understanding of cyber threat intelligence principles and lifecycle processes.
• Working knowledge of SIEM/XDR, EDR, network security, Windows/Linux, identity, cloud security.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, adversary TTPs, and common attack methods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cyber threat intelligence from commercial, government, open-source, and internal sources.
• Identify emerging threat actors, campaigns, malware, vulnerabilities, TTPs relevant to the organization.
• Develop intelligence assessments covering strategic, operational, and tactical cyber threats.
• Maintain threat actor profiles, IOCs, TTPs, and intelligence requirements.
• Translate intelligence into actionable detections, alerts, and security controls for the SOC.
