Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Computer Network Defense Analyst (CNDA) to protect critical systems through cybersecurity, network defense, and traffic analysis. The role involves designing secure systems and responding to cyber events in a regular, on-site capacity.

The CNDA will analyze data from IDS, firewalls, and logs, conduct vulnerability assessments, and perform incident response with a focus on defense against evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related STEM discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop computer or information systems with cybersecurity solutions.
• Conduct vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, forensics, and information assurance.
• Perform systems engineering and network/system administration.
• Analyze data from IDS, firewalls, and logs to identify vulnerabilities, respond to cyber events, and defend against threats.
