Job summary

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) seeks a Cybersecurity Ops Analyst Sr for the joint Contractor-Government Team at Ft. Meade, MD.

The role includes cyber threat intelligence, drafting IC indicators of compromise, network defense, incident response, threat analysis, and cyber investigations in support of assigned missions. The candidate will deploy incident response teams, deliver written reports, and brief senior military leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience; 4 additional years of work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience with Big Data Platform, JCWA Common Runtime Stack for Data (JCRS-D).
• Experience in network analysis using PCAP, network metadata, and security logs.
• Experience using AI in cybersecurity.
• Expertise in adversarial cyber actors, historical cyber activity, and the current cyber landscape.
• Experience researching classified systems and utilizing open-source cyber resources.
• Previous government, military, or IC role preferred.
• Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Detection Engineering.
• Zero Trust Architecture.
• Cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Perform cyber threat intelligence and draft Indicators of Compromise products.
• Conduct cyber incident response, threat analysis, and cyber investigations.
• Deploy and support Incident Response Teams for joint customer missions.
• Write reports and brief senior leadership with clear, actionable findings.
• Collect, aggregate, and interpret log data from multiple sources for threat detection.
• Correlate data from host, network, user, and intelligence reports to identify threats.
