Job summary

The Newberry Group is seeking an analytical Cyber Threat Analyst to support the Joint Fires Network SOC on Ford Island, HI. The role requires in-depth threat hunting, intelligence synthesis, and DT/elastic Defend SIEM work to protect IL-7 and classified enclaves.

Onsite, with a $10k sign-on and relocation benefits, the position demands US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance readiness. You will develop novel threat hunting playbooks, perform incident response, and ensure DIA-aligned procedures while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, CS or related field.
• Active TS/SCI with current eligibility prior to start date.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 baseline certification required.
• 2+ years of direct cyber threat intelligence, all-source analysis, or SOC operations.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate advanced threat hunting playbooks focused on behavioral anomalies.
• Analyze network telemetry and SIEM data to identify persistent adversary TTPs.
• Coordinate containment actions and document procedures in JIRA.
