Newberry Group is seeking a Cyber Countermeasure Specialist to join the DISA PAC team at Ford Island, HI. You will bridge threat intelligence with active network defense, deploying detection signatures, firewall rules, and automated mitigations across global sensors and cloud environments.

The role requires DoD 8140/8570 baselines and a DoD Top Secret/SI clearance, with relocation support up to $10,000. This is a full-time onsite position with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related technical discipline.
• DoD 8140/8570 baseline certification required prior to start.

Responsabilités

• Design, test, and deploy custom intrusion signatures and firewall rules.
• Tune perimeter defenses across DISA Enterprise boundaries; coordinate with partners.
• Develop automated incident responses and SOAR playbooks.
