Job summary

Newberry Group is seeking proactive and mission-focused Cyber Real Time Analysts to join our customer’s defensive cyber operations team at Ford Island, HI. This full-time on-site role supports 24/7/365 threat detection, incident response, and advanced sensor tuning for IL-7 environments.

Ideal candidates have DoD 8140 baseline certifications, TS/SCI eligibility, and a background in live SOC operations with ELK Stack, Corelight, and JIRA workflow experience. Relocation may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline with 2+ years of direct SOC / defensive cyber operations experience
• Associate degree with 4+ years; or 6+ years of relevant experience/military service in lieu of degree
• Level III Senior: Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of direct SOC / CND experience; or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• 24/7/365 Real-Time Threat Detection, Watch Operations & Triage
• Continuous SOC Monitoring and alert triage across JFN components
• Log Aggregation & Syslog Auditing
• Elastic SIEM Operations with ELK and Elastic Defend
• Workflow & Incident Tracking using Jira across rotations
• Incident Response Plan development, testing, and execution
• DIA-aligned reporting and documentation per TS/SCI requirements
• Advanced Sensor Operations with Corelight and Darktrace related tools
• Threat hunting playbooks development and documentation
• Containment and response playbooks via Jira and SOPs
• Cross-functional collaboration with NOC, DISA, and NIWC teams
