Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a seasoned Cyber Threat Detection and Response professional to lead and evolve our threat intelligence program. You will partner with Security Engineering, IT Architecture, Risk and Legal to shape processes and respond to evolving threats across the enterprise.

The role requires hands-on monitoring of SIEM/EDR, vulnerability management, network and cloud security, and malware analysis, with mentoring responsibilities for junior analysts and strong communication across all

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Security.
• Strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with incident response, malware analysis, and threat intelligence processes.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, CIS CSCs and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cybersecurity solutions (SIEM, EDR, VPNs, cloud security) for suspicious activity.
• Develop and maintain 24/7 SOC Tier 1/2 SOPs and playbooks.
• Manage threat intel KPIs, feeds, IOC analyses, and forensic workflows.
• Contribute to incident response and IT security testing programs.
• Mentor junior threat analysts and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
