Job summary

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will leverage your systems engineering and cybersecurity knowledge to lead vulnerability assessments and identify threats on weapons and space systems for US Combatant Commands (COCOM).

You will perform cybersecurity assessments of large-scale DoD systems, using an offensive mindset to support defensive operations and evaluate requirements, architectures and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering with cybersecurity knowledge.
• Familiarity with DoDAF standards and architecture views.

Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity assessments of large-scale DoD systems.
• Utilize an offensive cyber operations mindset to support defensive activities.
• Assess requirements, architecture, diagrams, build specifications and interfaces.
• Lead and/or facilitate technical guidance to teammates and others.
• Gather and define business and product functional and performance requirements.
• Define and design complex system specifications and hardware/software interfaces.
• Review literature, patents, and practices relevant to project solutions.
• Author technical whitepapers supporting client operations and future development.
