Job summary

X Energy, LLC is seeking a Senior Cyber Systems Administrator to develop and execute cyber security strategies for plant design and engineering teams. This hands-on role targets expert candidates with 15+ years of experience and focuses on building a lab for an industrial control systems environment.

You will lead installation, hardening and administration of OT security, SIEM, and endpoint detection. Expect collaboration across security, IT, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years combined experience in cyber engineering, IT networking and OT.
• Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity tools such as NDR, EDR, and SIEM.
• Advanced experience with Azure and AWS.
• CISSP, CISA, GIAC or equivalent certification(s) required.
• IAM technologies including MFA and PKI.
• Cloud tech including AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps.
• Networking, firewall and SDN expertise.
• Integration of cybersecurity tools for an enterprise program.
• Familiarity with AI/ML and orchestration to secure the environment.
• ServiceNow development/architecture and ITIL familiarity.
• Proficient in scripting, workflows, and business rule development.
• Ability to design/lead complex UIs, integrations, and workflows.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and Glide API.

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced threat hunt operations using adversary TTPs and indicators of attack.
• Develop threat intel to detect, respond, and defeat APTs.
• Produce reports on activities, incidents, trends and situational awareness.
• Identify and remediate control weaknesses.
• Review data with firewall admins, engineers, and admins to assess risk.
• Perform senior-level information security analysis work.
• Develop plans to safeguard configurations and data against modification or disclosure.
• Execute risk assessments for new and existing applications.
• Develop and implement systems to prevent, detect, contain, and correct breaches.
• Maintain professional demeanor in all communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
