The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Cyber Strategist in El Segundo, CA to shape cybersecurity for space systems. You will lead strategic planning, product line development, and stakeholder engagement with government agencies, prime contractors, and partners to translate vision into capabilities.

Requires 12+ years in cyber security, STEM degree, and ability to obtain a US security clearance. Competitive compensation and strong benefits accompany the role. Onsite 4-5 days/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, National Security, or Information Security/Technology, Cybersecurity, or related technical subject area.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans, roadmaps, and organizational strategies that align technical capabilities with mission objectives.
• Strong customer engagement and business development skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new product lines at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, translating emerging technology trends into actionable capabilities.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with government customers, DoD and IC program offices, industry partners, and research institutions.
• Track and pursue new opportunities based on governmental policy changes and evolution of technology, with particular focus on Cyber + AI convergence.
• Lead business development activities that align technical capabilities with customer mission needs.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and strategic vision to diverse audiences including government program offices and executive leadership.
• Drive next actions for CS3 internal product lines, as well as other community engagement activities to advance cyber security across the space enterprise.
• Partner with national laboratories, research institutions, and industry partners to transition emerging security technologies and research outcomes into operational capabilities.
