Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Cyber Software Engineer to join our Mission Systems team across several U.S. sites, including Annapolis Junction, San Antonio, Aurora, and Carey.

You will design and develop CNO tools, write code in C/C++, Python, and Java, and contribute to documentation and reviews in a government-led process. Requires a Bachelor’s in a related field with 4 years of experience, or higher degrees with fewer years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering with 4 years of experience
• Master’s degree with 2 years of experience
• PhD with 0 year of experience
• Current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance and willingness to obtain another polygraph
• Experience in Python or C/C++ programming
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging systems

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops end-to-end data flow and tasking into CNO tools developed
• Provides custom software design and development of CNO tools and techniques
• Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio/.NET or UNIX applications using make files
• Program in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
• Provide/author documentation and participate in design and software readiness reviews
