Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Cyber Software Engineer to join our team supporting mission systems at multiple locations including Annapolis Junction, MD and San Antonio, TX. You will design and implement software tools, programs in Python or C/C++, and contribute to end-to-end data flows while adhering to government procedures.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s in a related field with 2+ years of experience, or higher degrees with appropriate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering with 2 years of experience.
• Masters degree with 0 years of experience
• PhD with 0 year of experience
• Current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance and be willing and able to obtain another polygraph
• Experience in Python or C/C++ programming
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging systems

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software tools and end-to-end data flows.
• Program in Python or C/C++ and develop Windows/UNIX applications.
• Participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews.
