Job summary

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) seeks a Principal Cyber Engineer to act as a technical SME for cyber development, leading complex IT/cyber initiatives with Agile practices.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, training, and contributing to Cyberspace Operations projects for government customers. The candidate will join a distributed team, integrate existing products with industry standards, and plan exercises to support military operations, with telework allowed and up to 16

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for SCI access.
• Minimum 12 years with a BS or 20 years equivalent experience.
• Residency within 1 hour of Southern Pines, NC; telework allowed.

Responsibilities

• Provide cyber management services for threats in Cyberspace Operations.
• Lead or provide technical oversight for complex cyber/IT development efforts.
• Integrate products with Agile software development methodologies.
• Collaborate on maintenance and feature development of proprietary software.
• Deliver trainings and documentation for software products.
