Job summary

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Analyst to serve as a technical SME for cyber development efforts.

The role requires integrating mission strategy with industry standards to deliver effective cyber solutions for government clients. The successful candidate will join a distributed team, oversee cyber development initiatives, and contribute to training and documentation for software products.

Qualifications

• Must hold TS clearance and be eligible for SCI.
• Bachelor's in CS/engineering or 20 years equivalent experience.
• Residency within 45 miles of Fort Belvoir, VA.
• Hybrid work arrangement (office + telework).
• Travel 5–7 days per month.
• Experience leading complex cyber or IT development efforts.
• Experience with Windows, Linux and core networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide cyber management services to government agencies.
• Manage technical aspects of cyber development projects using Agile methods.
• Integrate existing products and architectures to address IT and cyber challenges.
• Develop and deliver customized training/documentation for software products.
• Support Cyberspace Operations exercises and related activities.
