Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Cyber Security Systems Engineer to support division‑level A&A projects across multiple branches. The role emphasizes liaison between technical teams and security stakeholders, RMF/ICD 503 processes, and documentation development.

The candidate will manage SSPs, CONOPS, and A&A artifacts, support assessments, and coordinate with engineering teams to meet ATO approvals. A Top Secret clearance with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph.
• Eleven or more years of related experience.
• Strong ability to multitask and facilitate across audiences.
• Experience in complex enterprise environments with shared networks and enclaves.
• Ability to explain technical implementations in security/compliance terms.
• Experience supporting RMF and ICD 503 A&A processes.
• Experience documenting security controls and artifacts.
• Familiarity coordinating across engineering, security, and program stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between technical teams and security stakeholders.
• Support complex network environments with shared infrastructure and enclaves.
• Document security control implementations and gather artifacts for RMF/ICD 503 A&A.
• Develop and maintain SSPs and CONOPS with tools like Greenlight.
• Collect A&A docs including CP, GUG, PUG, and SOPs.
• Support SCA and ISSO/Managers during A&A reviews and assessments.
• Track POA&Ms and evidence status.
• Coordinate with engineering, contractors and stakeholders for documentation.
• Navigate A&A processes for ATD, IATT, and ATO approvals.
• Monitor A&A lifecycle status across projects.
