Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Cyber Security (GPN) to lead and mentor security professionals, advise on risk reduction, and drive enterprise-wide security initiatives. You will guide capability development, cross-program risk assessment, and the implementation of standardized frameworks, collaborating with leadership and technical teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
7+ years in cybersecurity or IT.
6+ years in evaluating or supporting development of cybersecurity capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop associates with clear expectations and feedback.
Advise on best practices to reduce risk through cybersecurity tools and platforms.
Support development and standardization of risk/threat frameworks and evaluations.
Drive continuous improvement programs including risk/issue identification and corrective actions.
Coordinate cross-program risk, controls, tooling, and data analytics for prioritization.
Lead enterprise risk reduction initiatives and drive remediation actions.
Communicate gaps and remediation options to leadership to enhance cybersecurity posture.
Lead cross-domain risk assessments aligning standards with business goals.
