Ethereum Technologies in Woodlands, TX seeks a Cyber Security Engineer to defend enterprise networks, cloud services, and endpoints. The role includes incident response leadership and vulnerability management, with hands-on duties across firewalls, EDR, and SIEM.

The engineer will configure Palo Alto firewall rules, manage CrowdStrike EDR and Proofpoint Email Security, and collaborate with MSSPs to meet SLAs. Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.

Competenze

• 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Microsoft Security Suite, and SIEM.
• Experience working with MSSPs and third-party vendors.
• Strong understanding of network, endpoint, and cloud security.

Mansioni

• Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for security incidents and investigations.
• Manage security tools and platforms across the enterprise.
• Create, review, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewall rulesets.
• Administer and monitor CrowdStrike EDR and Proofpoint Email Security solutions.
• Operate and fine-tune SIEM platforms and develop use cases.
• Leverage Microsoft Defender tools to secure cloud environments.
• Lead vulnerability management including scanning, prioritization, remediation, and reporting.
