Job summary

The Villages, Inc. is seeking an on-site Cyber Security Specialist in Middleton, Idaho to manage security operations, compliance, and incident response for the organization and its clients.

You will monitor threats, perform vulnerability assessments, and document security designs and controls in alignment with industry standards. The role requires hands-on analysis, collaboration with IT and legal teams, and delivering timely security reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and incident handling.
• Knowledge of threat modeling and vulnerability assessment.
• Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP technologies.
• Ability to interpret security logs and perform root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to threats using SOC tools.
• Perform threat and vulnerability assessments across data centers and networks.
• Research threats and IOCs via malware analysis and sandboxing.
• Document system designs to meet security standards and compliance.
• Recommend and implement cybersecurity solutions to mitigate risks.
• Provide post-incident security reports and lessons learned.
