Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider is seeking a Senior Cyber Security - Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to join their team in Bedford, Massachusetts. This role involves supporting cybersecurity operations and ensuring the integration of security requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in cybersecurity, strong knowledge of DoD standards, and possess an active Top-Secret clearance. The position also requires expertise in risk management and the development of formal security programs.

Qualifications

• 12+ years' experience in cybersecurity and IT focused on implementations.
• Firm understanding of DoD and NIST cybersecurity standards.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Participate in acquisition meetings and technical exchange meetings.
• Advise customers on Risk Management Framework (RMF) issues.
• Develop and implement a security assessment plan.
• Conduct risk assessments for DoD agency customers.
• Develop a formal Information Systems Security Program.

Skills

Technical experience in cybersecurity

DoD standards (8500.1-M, etc.)

Experience with RMF tools (EMASS, XACTA)

Understanding of cybersecurity implementations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, networking, or programming
