Job summary

Cooley LLP seeks a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join the Security team in Colorado. You will monitor security systems, implement and manage tools, and respond to incidents while aligning with firm policies and management guidance.

You will work on risk reviews, threat detection, and collaboration with multiple teams to maintain strong information security across the firm. 7x24 on-call rotation is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office suite, iManage and firm apps.
• Willingness to work extended or weekend hours.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• 5+ years in information security with high autonomy.
• Broad experience in information security and technology.
• Hands-on with security tools and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and monitor security system reports and logs.
• Configure, maintain and administer security products and solutions.
• Manage firewalls, VPN, PAM, DLP, EDR, and SIEM systems.
• Respond to alerts and incidents as part of Incident Response.
• Assist in troubleshooting and vendor TAM arrangements.
• Conduct risk and security reviews on products.
• Recommend controls and monitor security metrics.
• Support internal investigations and forensic activities as needed.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve findings and improve posture.
• Evaluate security vendors and products; perform other duties as assigned.
