Job summary

The General Engineer (GG-0081-13) position provides expert advisory support to AFNWC cyber resiliency programs and serves as the primary cyber threat and intelligence consultant for Air Force activities.

Applicants must meet OPM GS-801 qualifications; multidisciplinary engineering experience for weapon systems and knowledge of intelligence communities are essential, along with strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Systems Engineering and translating weapon system requirements into production requirements for national intelligence production centers.
• Experience in theories, principles and techniques of systems engineering to analyze aerospace science and threat data evaluation.
• Knowledge of the intelligence community and aerospace industry structures, with emphasis on acquisition processes.
• Ability to plan and manage complex technical programs with dispersed subject matter experts and lead engineering studies.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in professional settings.
