Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Analyst to join the Cyber Threat Monitoring Team in the United States. The role focuses on CTI, threat hunting, and strengthening detection and response capabilities across the organization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, interface with senior leaders, and contribute to intelligence production and proactive defense strategies. A strong cybersecurity background and a passion for continuous learning are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, and/or related roles.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence platforms.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills under high-stress conditions.
• Ability to produce strategic, operational, and tactical threat products.

Responsibilities

• Produce and disseminate CTI emails, reports, and briefings for stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Monitor open/source and vendor threat intelligence to drive proactive defense.
• Enhance SIEM/IR procedures and runbooks for improved detection and response.
• Develop threat intelligence reports and hunting strategies based on IOC trends.
• Build threat actor profiles aligned with MITRE ATT&CK; identify tactical patterns.
• Assist in SOC escalations and IR investigations with threat-informed guidance.
• Conduct threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments with prioritized remediations.
• Collaborate with Red Team and Incident Management for exercises and tests.
• Plan threat hunting activities and analyze SIEM logs for anomalies.
