A law firm in Los Angeles, California seeks a Senior Cyber Class Action Attorney to handle defense of complex privacy and data‑security class actions. This role offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement with nationwide scope.

The attorney will defend privacy lawsuits, draft dispositive motions, manage multiple cases, and work with expert witnesses. JD required; 8+ years of experience in complex litigation and class actions preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of complex litigation experience in state and federal courts.
• Class action litigation experience required.
• Cybersecurity and data privacy background preferred.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Experience defending data breach privacy class actions is a plus.
• Working knowledge of state and federal rules of civil procedure.

Responsibilities

• Defend privacy lawsuits and data breach class actions in state and federal courts nationwide.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment.
• Manage strategy and timelines for multiple class action cases.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery and work with expert witnesses.
• Participate in mediations and draft settlement papers for court approval.
