Job summary

AXA XL’s Global Cyber Pricing team seeks a Senior Analyst to support pricing tools development, portfolio monitoring and data‑driven underwriting decisions in the United States. You will contribute to reporting, data validation and analytics to drive business performance across the cyber portfolio.

This role reports to Head of Pricing, Cyber, and requires strong analytical skills, data manipulation ability, and collaboration across underwriting and pricing teams.

Qualifications

• Proven technical and analytical capabilities with experience in data analysis, modeling, or tool development.
• Some experience in property and casualty insurance, preferably pricing or analytics.
• Coding skills in Python, R, SQL for data manipulation and automation are advantageous.
• Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Effective collaboration within global, cross-functional teams.
• Progression through actuarial exams with the goal of full qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Interest in Cyber security; prior experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Produce and distribute regular portfolio management and performance reporting used by underwriting, pricing and management teams to monitor business performance, trends and data quality.
• Support recurring pricing and business reporting processes, including data validation, reconciliation, investigation of anomalies and preparation of management information.
• Conduct periodic quality assurance reviews and audit activities to support pricing governance, data integrity and compliance requirements.
• Collect, validate and prepare data for internal risk management, portfolio oversight and strategic reporting purposes.
• Develop, maintain and enhance analytical tools, reporting processes and automated solutions that support the wider Cyber Pricing team.
