Job summary

State Street's Cyber Data & Analytics (CyberDNA) team seeks a Sr. Platform Operations Engineer to advance cybersecurity data platforms, analytics, and AI-powered tooling.

You will collaborate with Global Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Continuity Services to enable data-driven decisions and stronger threat detection. You will lead production support for SIEM, log management, and observability platforms, mentoring global teams, and driving operational readiness, incident handling,

Qualifications

• Proven experience administering enterprise SIEM and security operations platforms.
• Strong background in cybersecurity monitoring, observability, and data ingestion.
• Experience with high-availability production support and ITIL-aligned processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the support, administration, reliability, and day-to-day operations of enterprise cybersecurity platforms.
• Support the operational roadmap for cybersecurity platform capabilities across SIEM, observability, and data ingestion.
• Drive platform modernization initiatives and service improvement programs across security platforms.
• Provide technical leadership for global support teams and mentor engineers in SIEM technologies (Splunk, QRadar, Elastic).
• Monitor ingestion health, storage utilization, and performance of SIEM and data platforms; coordinate issue resolution with infra teams.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Cloud, and Service Management to deliver stable operational outcomes and incident response.
