Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in Data Protection & Privacy to lead client engagements, define security requirements, and guide data protection strategies across diverse industries. You will work with an internationally connected team to deliver data security solutions and governance, including encryption, PKI, and post-quantum considerations.

You will travel up to 40-60% and contribute to business development while mentoring teams in a collaborative, flexible EY environment that emphasizes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 4-6 years of related work experience or graduate degree with 3-5 years of related work experience.
• 3-5 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software into client infrastructure.
• Knowledge of encryption, data disposition, data classification, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures, and governance.
• Basic understanding of coarse and fine encryption and key management capabilities.
• Understanding of data governance and data lifecycle management.
• Experience with data discovery tools such as Collibra, Informatica, BigID, Microsoft.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement teams and manage business development activities on strategic accounts.
• Define technical and business requirements for data security solutions and develop data security policies.
• Implement data security products and solutions including encryption, PKI, data governance, and post-quantum strategies.
