Job summary

EY seeks a Senior Consultant for our Data Protection & Privacy team to lead client engagements focused on data security, governance, and lifecycle management. You will define requirements, implement data protection strategies, and advise on encryption and cryptographic programs across diverse industries.

Travel up to 40-60% is expected as you collaborate with clients and EY specialists to deliver resilient, compliant solutions in a globally connected environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 4-6 years of related work experience, or a graduate degree with 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Approx 3-5 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software into clients' infrastructure.
• Knowledge of encryption, data disposition, data classification, and governance.
• Understanding of data lifecycle management and data governance.
• Familiarity with data discovery tools such as Collibra, Informatica, BigID, Microsoft.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement teams for data protection and privacy projects.
• Define technical and business requirements for data security solutions.
• Develop and implement data security strategies and governance.
• Advise on encryption, key management, and cryptographic program strategy.
• Collaborate with clients to identify critical data and ensure data resilience.
