Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in our Data Protection & Privacy practice to lead data security engagements for global clients. You will shape solutions, manage teams, and define policies in a collaborative, highly technical environment.

You will work on encryption, PKI, data governance, and post‑quantum considerations while guiding architecture and deployment across client infrastructures. A hybrid work model and global opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4–6 years of related work experience.
• 3–5 years of technical architecture integrating data protection software.
• Knowledge of encryption, data disposition, classification, governance.
• Understanding of data lifecycle security and disposal techniques.
• Experience with data governance and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with data discovery tools (Collibra, Informatica, BigID, Microsoft).

Responsibilities

• Manage client engagement teams and deliver professional services.
• Define requirements for data security solutions and policies.
• Develop data security strategies and implement protection solutions.
• Lead encryption strategy, governance, and lifecycle protections.
• Advise on data security products and data governance roadmaps.
