Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a mid‑to‑senior Systems Administrator to support enterprise Linux infrastructure, automation, and sustainment. The role focuses on Red Hat Linux, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and SAFe‑based Agile delivery in a secure, scalable environment.

The candidate should have strong automation skills (Ansible, Python), container orchestration experience, and the ability to operate with limited oversight on mission‑critical systems in a Colorado Springs setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Graduate degree with 6/4+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of related work in lieu of a degree.
• Top Secret SCI preferred; SCI eligible at minimum.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification: Security+ CE or higher.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux in a production enterprise.
• Support virtualized infrastructure with VMware or OpenShift, including deployment and sustainment.
• Automate tasks with Ansible for configuration, patching, and deployment.
• Operate Kubernetes-based container workloads and perform platform troubleshooting.
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and deliver iteratively.
