Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cyber Exercise Planner to support the DHS/CISA cyber exercise program. You will design realistic scenarios, assess stakeholder readiness, and generate insights to strengthen national cybersecurity response.

You will help coordinate planning, conduct exercises, and produce after-action reports while collaborating with federal partners and private sector stakeholders. A TS/SCI clearance is required to perform duties on this mission.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with exercise development, design, conduct, and analysis.
• Familiarity with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) Methodology.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office 365 applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service orientation, focus, and multitasking ability.
• Ability to respond to urgent and sensitive information requests promptly.
• Attention to detail and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support federal client and exercise contract leads to plan, coordinate, and execute cyber exercises per HSEEP.
• Draft and maintain exercise life cycle documents from concept to after-action reporting.
• Develop after-action reports and improvement plans for cybersecurity processes.
• Coordinate requirement gathering with business owners and government stakeholders.
• Research, assess, and analyze customer needs and requirements.
