Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9 years of hands-on cyber engineering experience, or a Master's with 7 years.
• U.S. citizen with active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
• Must live within commuting range of Reston, VA; frequent time in VA/DC spaces.
• Current CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer spaces quickly, learn stack and people, leave usable artifacts.
• Drive cyber teams when spaces are new, consult leads, avoid replacement.
• Assess programs against frameworks and recommend modernization and automation.
• Work on Zero Trust, AI platform security, data engineering for security telemetry, and SIEM/SOC architecture.
