Job summary

Argo Cyber Systems, LLC is seeking a Cyber Detection Engineer SME to support a U.S. Government cybersecurity program defending federal civilian agencies and critical infrastructure.

You will lead development, validation, deployment, and optimization of advanced detection capabilities across endpoints, network, identity, cloud, and applications. The role requires extensive threat hunting, adversary behavior analysis, and hands-on detection engineering to transform intelligence and incident

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of directly relevant professional experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate advanced threat hunting methodologies.
• Design, test, and deploy behavioral analytics and detection signatures.
• Translate threat intelligence into scalable detection capabilities across endpoints, networks, and cloud.
• Map detection content to MITRE ATT&CK techniques and document evidence.
• Lead detection engineering improvements and provide technical mentorship.
