Job summary

Argo Cyber Systems is seeking a Cyber Detection Engineer SME to defend federal civilian agencies and critical infrastructure. You will lead threat hunting, detection engineering, and incident response across endpoints, networks, cloud, and applications, aligning detection with MITRE ATT&CK techniques.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain DHS suitability, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of directly relevant professional experience.
• Experience in threat hunting, detection engineering, incident response.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate advanced detection content across endpoints, network, identity, cloud, and applications.
• Design, test, and deploy behavioral analytics, detection signatures, and investigative queries.
• Translate threat intelligence and incident response lessons into scalable detection capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with threat hunters, incident responders, and platform engineers.
• Map detection content to MITRE ATT&CK techniques and document coverage.
