Qualifikationen

• U.S. Citizenship required for federal-level work.
• Active TS/SCI clearance (DHS EOD Suitability to be obtained).
• 5+ years in cyber incident management, SOC, or DFIR roles.
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies and reporting requirements.
• Ability to analyze, prioritize, and document incidents in large environments.
• Understanding of attack lifecycles and adversary tactics.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and hybrid environments.

Aufgaben

• Direct and coordinate incident response across diverse environments for rapid containment.
• Correlate incident data to identify patterns, trends, and threats.
• Perform triage and scoping to determine severity and impact.
• Apply Defense-in-Depth principles to strengthen enterprise resilience.
• Investigate IOCs and malware behavior using host and network data.
• Document resolutions, mitigations, and workarounds.
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks aligned with NIST SP 800-61 and FISMA.
• Monitor threat feeds for situational awareness of current threats.
• Track lifecycle progress and escalate to senior stakeholders as needed.
• Collaborate with threat analysts, forensics, SOC, and federal coordinators.
