Job summary

GDIT is seeking an Information Security Analyst Principal to strengthen enterprise cybersecurity operations and lead vulnerability management in hybrid environments. You will drive threat detection and response, coordinating with engineering, cloud, and network teams to ensure secure configurations and rapid mitigation of vulnerabilities.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and familiarity with RMF and NIST 800-53 frameworks.

Qualifications

• Security+, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Technical skills include Tenable Security Center, Linux/Red Hat admin, DISA STIGs, NSA guidelines, DoW frameworks, Azure IL5/IL6, Defender for Endpoint, POA&M management, vulnerability analysis, and incident response familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise vulnerability management operations, including deployment, configuration, and optimization of Tenable Security Center across Linux/Red Hat environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, cloud, network, and leadership teams to ensure secure configurations and rapid mitigation of vulnerabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing vulnerability data, reporting, tuning detection rules, and resolving scanner/integration challenges.
• Utilize tools like Tenable Security Center, Defender for Endpoint, Azure IL5/IL6, Linux/Red Hat administration, and enterprise security monitoring solutions.
