Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to support the SOC with an active DoD clearance. The role involves reviewing alerts, analyzing logs, and assisting in incident response to protect customer networks.

The candidate must have SOC experience and DoD clearance, with CSSP-A and IAT II certifications prioritized within 6 months. The position is a day shift with shift work including weekends.

Qualifications

• Active DoDTS/SCI clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in incident handling preferred.
• Experience in SOC environments and CND lifecycle training.
• DoD 8570 CSSP-A certification required within 6 months of start.
• Strong written and verbal reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Use alerts from endpoints, IDS/IPS, NetFlow to identify compromises.
• Review large log files, correlate evidence for investigations.
• Pass triaged alerts to senior SOC personnel and help identify attackers.
• Document analysis, findings, and actions in a case management system.
• Support incident reports to customers and higher headquarters.
