Job summary

Tokio Marine Global Services (TMGS) seeks an experienced Senior Incident Response/Operations Engineer for the Global Fusion Center US Operations. You will manage day-to-day security infrastructure, conduct proactive threat hunting, and lead incident response, driving automation and improvements across services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in operational cybersecurity roles.
• 3+ years hands-on incident response experience.
• Experience developing incident status for leadership.
• Threat hunting using intelligence data to proactively find suspicious behavior.
• Analysis of network and host-based security events.
• Proficient with Windows or Linux system administration.
• Proficient with PowerShell or Bash.
• Proficient with Windows Event Forwarding or syslog.
• Proficient in Python, Perl, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and related protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead security incident response in cross-functional environments.
• Monitor security systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• Implement and manage security tools and processes to detect and mitigate threats.
• Maintain security feeds and data integrity.
• Collaborate with level one analysts, affected teams, and vendors.
• Author threat detection rules and SOAR playbooks.
• Refine security operations metrics and SLIs/SLAs.
• Identify and implement security process automation to improve operations.
• Serve as SME for Security Operations and incident response.
• Provide guidance to partner security teams in threat mitigation.
• Communicate complex technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build relationships with internal customers to enhance impact of the team.
