Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Security Analyst to defend highly visible systems from threats. Based in Redmond, WA, you will join the Security Operations Center and drive incident response, evidence collection, and collaboration with engineering.

You will build detection capabilities and strengthen endpoints and network monitoring to protect missions and assets. The role requires 5+ years in information security or 7+ years with no degree, experience with SIEMs, and on-site work in Redmond.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in information security, networking, or systems engineering; or 7+ years without a degree.
• Experience auditing Linux, Windows, or macOS.
• Familiarity with network and host-based collection tools.

Responsibilities

• Support SOC as frontline responder for detections and anomalies.
• Investigate security incidents from detection to root cause.
• Collaborate with engineering to secure systems and improve defenses.
• Develop detection capabilities against advanced attacker techniques.
• Enhance visibility and playbooks for endpoints and networks.
