Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Fusion and Threats Analyst to join the GSM-O II DISA DCCSS program supporting 24x7 operations at the D2OC, Ft. Meade, MD. The role emphasizes threat analysis, incident reporting, and defense-in-depth across the DoDIN.

The candidate will review DoD/IC reports, synthesize threat intelligence, and mentor the team. A TS/SCI clearance and DoD IAT Level 2 baseline are required to begin employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional DISA experience or related cyber courses/certification accepted in lieu of a degree.
• DoD-8140 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or higher) at start date.
• Strong understanding of Cyber Network Defense (CND) concepts (protect, detect, respond, sustain) within a Computer Incident Response organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences.
• Advanced research and analytical skills to identify statistically significant cyber threat patterns.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, networking ports/protocols, OSI model, and defense-in-depth.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain situational awareness of cyber activity by reviewing DoD/IC/open-source reports for threats.
• Support mission-critical Continuity of Operations (COOP).
• Create incident reports, wiki updates, collaboration chats, notifications, and queries for DoD incident handling and trend reporting.
• Provide threat and vulnerability analyses and security advisory recommendations.
• Train and mentor other team members.
