Job summary

The Newberry Group seeks an experienced Cyber Countermeasure Specialist to join our DISA PAC team on Ford Island, HI. This onsite role requires TS/SCI/eligible clearance and tight coordination with DoD partners to safeguard the DODIN and USPACOM networks.

Salary ranges from $115,000 to $150,000 with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and 10% travel. Relocation assistance up to $10,000 may be available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or related field required or equivalent
• Top Secret/ SCI eligibility required with DoD badge or potentially Secret with approval
• 5+ years of experience in cyber defense or related role preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy enterprise boundary defenses and countermeasures
• Lead engineering of detection signatures and rules across networks
• Coordinate responses with DISA, USPACOM, and partner vendors
• Ensure compliance with DoD 8140/8570 baselines and incident reporting
• Operate within SCIF environments with TS/SCI enclaves as required
