Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Consultant, Cyber Architecture to review and assess security architectures for internal and external customers, identifying risks and recommending aligned controls and best practices.

The role involves collaboration with multiple security teams, advisory services, and ongoing client engagement across industries. Remote work within the Continental United States is available with ~25% travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent work experience and/or military experience.
• Minimum 6–10 years' work experience (consulting preferred).
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Networking or security vendor professional certification.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ambitious and goal-oriented with initiative to work until the job is complete.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in client interactions across various industry verticals.

Responsibilities

• Lead large security engagements in concert with other Presidio cyber security team members.
• Conduct security architecture discussions with customers to determine architectural and hardening risks with secure design and remediation.
• Develop strategic, operational, and tactical recommendations to remediate risks and compliance gaps.
• Conduct security architecture and controls assessments based on CIS 18, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, and related standards.
• Collaborate with other Cyber Architects to support delivery of key consulting services.
• Meet project critical success targets for timeliness and customer satisfaction.
