Job summary

Planet Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to perform comprehensive assessments, develop security policies, and guide clients in implementing controls across their environments.

The role requires experience with vendors, frameworks, and regulatory standards, plus strong communication to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Remote options are available with some in-person collaboration in Dallas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Cyber Consultant, Cybersecurity Analyst, or similar role.
• Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001 and other standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Provide guidance on cybersecurity best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with clients to design and implement security controls.
• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats.
