Job summary

SAIC seeks a Sr. Cyber Engineer to support USAF programs from Midwest City, OK. Focus on network architecture analysis, vulnerability assessment, and cybersecurity solutions for aircraft and weapons systems.

The role involves developing and validating cybersecurity requirements, coordinating audits, and occasional travel to government installations. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s, 5+ years’ experience, Security+ certification, and active Secret clearance; CISSP/CISM preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; 5+ years professional experience.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• Secret clearance required.
• CISSP and/or CISM certifications preferred.
• Network systems architect/engineer experience.
• Experience with Air Force avionics systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify critical program information and vulnerabilities in network architecture and message protocols.
• Complete Authority to Operate documentation updates.
• Coordinate Interim Authority to Test packages.
• Complete Cybersecurity Impact Identification Checklists.
• Coordinate Cyber Security Impact Evaluation Reports and perform cybersecurity analyses.
• Support development and validation of cybersecurity requirements for programs.
• Participate in meetings and technical demonstrations; Travel to Tinker AFB and other installations as needed.
