Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Shop CWI / Quality CWI in Pennsylvania to bring strong technical knowledge into the heart of its fabrication shop. You will work with production to solve quality issues and improve processes in structural steel and bridge fabrication.

You’ll review welding procedures, manage NCRs and inspection records, support audits and help ensure AWS D1.1 and AISC standards are met. This is a permanent, shop-based, full-time role in PA.

Qualifications

Experience with structural steel and/or bridge fabrication.
Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1.
AISC quality experience.

Responsibilities

Review welding procedures & welder qualifications.
Manage NCRs, traceability & inspection records.
Support audits and quality systems.
Work directly with production to resolve quality issues.
Improve fabrication quality and processes; coach junior quality personnel.
Ensure work meets AWS, AISC and project requirements.
