Job summary

Mattel, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Customs Analyst to maintain a steady flow of goods through the Import/Export supply chain. The role emphasizes flawless execution, proactive problem-solving, and regulatory compliance across ocean, air, and land shipments.

You will collaborate with freight forwarders, brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues, file required documentation, and analyze data for reporting. A strong background in customs operations and HTS classification is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, logistics, transportation, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in customs brokerage operations.
• Excellent data analytics, problem-solving, reasoning, and influencing skills.
• Ability to develop new tools to streamline department processes.

Responsibilities

• Review CBP documents for accuracy and file customs entries for Ocean/Land/Air Imports.
• Monitor timely filings of customs entries according to CBP guidelines.
• Assess HTS classification and apply GRIs; maintain part master in internal systems.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and timely payment of duties and taxes.
• File PSCs (Post Summary Corrections) and reconciliation entries as required.
• Maintain documents under 19 CFR 163 and coordinate with internal teams, brokers, and agencies.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and data analysis; continuously improve department processes.
