We're looking for an experienced recruiting professional to join our Chicago office as a Senior Customer Success Manager. In this role, you'll leverage your talent acquisition expertise to assist small-business customers in improving their hiring outcomes through Betterteam's applicant tracking system. The Role:

As a Senior Customer Success Manager, you will be a strategic partner and advocate for our clients—primarily small business owners and HR teams. Your focus will be on building relationships and ensuring clients derive maximum value from Betterteam, diagnosing issues in their recruiting processes, and recommending effective solutions. Your goal is to turn customers into enthusiastic advocates and contribute to their success and ours daily.

What You'll Do:

  • Consult & Advise: Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring goals, review their job posts and workflows, and provide expert recommendations to enhance candidate quality and quantity.
  • Drive Adoption: Educate clients on platform features and best practices to maximize their results.
  • Analyze & Optimize: Monitor recruiting metrics, identify bottlenecks, and suggest actionable improvements.
  • Build Relationships: Maintain regular contact, conduct training, and serve as a trusted advisor to foster client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate & Advocate: Work with Support and Product teams to resolve issues and relay customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Spot Growth Opportunities: Identify potential for account expansion and coordinate with sales for upselling when appropriate.

Who You Are:

An accomplished recruiting professional with a proven track record in talent acquisition or staffing, capable of diagnosing hiring challenges and prescribing solutions. You possess a consultative approach, strong interpersonal skills, and are eager to impact multiple companies through your expertise.

Your Background & Skills:

  • Recruiting Expertise: 3+ years in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in agency or client-facing roles.
  • Consultative Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport, listen actively, and influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with data, interpreting metrics, and using ATS/CRM tools.
  • Proactive & Driven: Self-motivated, problem-solving, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for Impact: Genuine enthusiasm for helping small businesses succeed.
