GovCIO is seeking a Customer Success Manager (CSM) to support VA Data Modernization. This fully remote role manages a portfolio of internal customers, onboarding, and ensuring high-quality support for users of modern data platforms across the United States.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s in IT/Engineering, 8 years in project management, and 3+ years in customer success or related fields, with strong PowerPoint, data analysis, and SQL skills. Azure Databricks exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a technical discipline (or commensurate experience).
• 8 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
• 3+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or a related field with enterprise products.
• Ability to build and navigate relationships across complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of internal customers and build deep relationships across their organizations.
• Develop understanding of customers’ strategic goals, team composition, decision-makers, and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and support to realize, track, and report customer values created.
• Collect insights to support scalable use cases that drive platform adoption and value.
• Maintain rigorous account documentation and next steps for broader team context.
• Create customer success playbooks and engagement templates to strengthen the function.
