Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry-leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and an adhesive manufacturer, currently has a Sr. Customer Service Representative opportunity for our Specialty Chemical Distribution division at Ellsworth Adhesives.

Location: On-site in Germantown, WI.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming transactional customer requests via chat, phone, web, CRM, and EDI for orders, quotes, product inquiries, expedites, and RMAs with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
• Work with internal teams such as purchasing, shipping, and credit to provide timely customer updates.
• Follow detailed contract review, customer requirements, and audit guidelines on order entry.
• Execute customer sample requests and process order updates and changes.
• Serve as the escalation point for junior associates in the department.
• Handle complex customer inquiries and conflicts independently.
• Demonstrate subject‑matter expertise in vendor, system, and customer knowledge and contribute to training materials and initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
• Proficient keyboarding skills (typing approximately 45+ words per minute).
• Experience with business tools such as SharePoint, MS Teams, and Windows operating systems.
• Strong attention to detail, polished communication and interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to autonomously take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
