Job summary

Barry Callebaut is seeking a Sr. Customer R&D Project Manager to spearhead complex new product development from theoretical recipe to lab prototype and industrial product for internal and external clients.

You will translate customer requirements into actionable projects while leading cross-functional teams and liaising with Sales, Operations, and Quality. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Food Technology/Engineering/Science with 10+ years in the confectionery sector, and strong

Qualifications

Master's degree in Food Technology/Engineering/Science or equivalent experience in food industry.
Excellent English and local language proficiency; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead complex new product development projects from concept to commercialization.
Guide and mentor R&D product experts and technologists to deliver high performance.
Provide technical support to vendors, customers, operations and quality teams on product issues.
Engage in customer visits and plant trials to drive project success.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Quality, Sourcing and cocoa R&D.
Maintain strong customer relationships and communicate project updates and technical recommendations.
Identify new market opportunities by providing technical insights to customers.
Ensure complete project documentation including recipe creation.
